Mango milkshake , the name itself makes me drool. I have always tried mango milkshake with banganapally mangoes but this is the first time i have tried with alphonso mangoes. I loved the colour and the taste very much. I made this for an event organised by a friend and i made this in bulk. We all enjoyed the mango milkshake very much and it was quite filling too.
Ingredients
Preparation Time : 10 mins | Cooking Time : Nil | Yields : 3 Cups
Ripe Mangoes 1 (preferably alphonso)
Milk 1 Cup
Water 1/2 Cup
Sugar 2-3 tblsp
Ripe Mangoes 1 (preferably alphonso)
Milk 1 Cup
Water 1/2 Cup
Sugar 2-3 tblsp
Method:
- Peel the skin of the mangoes and slice them roughly. discard the seed.
- Blend all the ingredients together, except water, into a smooth paste.
- Add water in the last and whip once.
- Serve chilled or serve immediately with ice cubes.
Notes:
- You can add a pinch of saffron or cardamom powder to the milkshake.
- You can add a scoop of vanilla or mango ice cream while serving.
