OATS POTTUKADALAI MURUKKU RECIPE| DIWALI MURUKKU RECIPES

Oats-murukku
Oats pottukadalai murukku is a quite interesting murukku which i came across in Priya's blog. It is very simple and easy murukku. the original recipe has added coconut milk instead of water to make the dough. Since i have already posted Thengai paal murukku for diwali, last year, ithought i will add water only. It turned out very well crispy and for a change you can try murukku with Oats and pottukadalai.  Stay tuned for more diwali recipes coming up on Jeyashri's kitchen . Method:
  • Dry roast the oats for few minutes and make a fine powder. Be careful as oats gets burnt very fast.

    1. Mam thank you so much for the feedback.
Reg your disaster, either you would have added more butter or little extra pottukdala. Both will make the murukku getting dissolved in oil. Even for all snacks if butter is too much it will melt in oil.

    1. Thank you so much Indhu. Regarding your doubt, either the dough is too stiff or too loose, both ways it will break in oil. If it is getting dissolved, either you would have added extra pottukadalai or more butter. Happy diwali to you all.
