Khakra chaat recipe, a simple and easy to make chaat recipe, using methi khakras as the base. This is a perfect one for parties and potlucks. Just keep every thing in hand and assemble before serving. You can make this Khakra chaat using home made khakras or store bought ones too. Just as masala papad, we are making this chaat with khakra as base. I have used store bought khakra for this recipe. If you want to mkae Methi khakra at home do check out my recipe. I used the samosa chutney and the green chutney with raw mango for making this khakra chaat. You can use the sweet chutney and green chutney too.
Methi Khakra 2
Onion 1/2
Green chilli 1
Tomato 1/4 portion
Chaat masala 2 pinches
Potato 1/2 (boiled and cubed)
Coriander leaves few
Sev to garnish
Pomegranate 2-3 tblsp
Samosa chutney 2 tsp
Green chutney 2 tsp

Method :
- In a serving plate place the khakra.
- Finely chop the onions and green chilli.
- Take out the seeds from the tomato and chop them finely.
- Sprinkle the chopped onions and chillis on the top of the khakra.
- If you want to skip the chillis you can do so.
- Sprinkle the chopped tomatoes.
- Add the green chutney. Just drizzle them on the khakra.
- Add the boiled potato to this.
- Sprinkle some chaat masala.
- Drizzle some sweet chutney to this.
- On the top add some pomegranate too.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and sev.
- Serve immediately.
Notes:
- Khakras can be replaced with roasted papads or khichya papads or the south Indian arisi appalam too.
- The quantity of the chutneys purely depends on your taste. Add as per your preference.
- You can add some boiled some chickpeas to this khakra chaat.
