Nachos recipe | Party snack recipe

Nachos with cheese is all time a super hit party snack recipe. Whenever we find Nachos in a restaurant Menu card, we will order this for sure. But i have never attempted to do this at home. I know it is a very simple and easy snack, but somehow didn't give it a try at home. Few days back when we went to Myras beach restaurant in Singapore, we ordered this Nachos cheese there. They generally serve with tomato salsa, guacamole and sour cream dip. I served this as it as, because i already added some veggies to the nachos cheese. Try this easy recipe for parties and i am sure it will be a super hit among your guests.

Nachos recipe

  Preparation Time : 15 mins | Cooking Time : 3 Mins |Serves: 2

     Nachos  2 cups
     Cheddar cheese  1/4 cup + 2 tblsp
     Olives  2-3
     Cooked red kidney beans  2 tblsp 
     Capsicum  2 tblsp (chopped)
     Sweet corn  2 tblsp
     Tomato  2 tblsp (chopped)
     Green chili or Jalapeno chili  few
Method:
  • In a microwave safe bowl or plate arrange few tortilla chips. 
  • Sprinkle the olives, red kidney beans, capsicum, sweet corn and green chili or jalapeno.
  • Sprinkle the cheddar cheese all over. If you don't get cheddar cheese, add mozzarella cheese.
  • Arrange one more layer of tortilla chips on this.
  • Sprinkle the olives, red kidney beans, capsicum, sweet corn and green chili.
  • Sprinkle a lavish layer of cheddar cheese.
  • Microwave this for 2-3 minutes or till the cheese melts.
  • Serve immediately.
Notes:
  1. Adding the olives, capsicum, sweet corn is truly optional. 
  2. The cheddar cheese which we find in Fair price shop here has some animal rennet, so i bought the non animal, vegetarian Cheddar cheese from Mustafa center.
