Nungu rose milk | Palm fruit rose milk recipe with video and step wise pictures , summer coolant recipe made using nungu and rose milk syrup. Rose milk is one of my most favorite drink from the childhood. My mom used to make rose milk for me almost all the days during summer. Most of the days morning after getting up we used to take rose milk only. I got introduced to Rooh afza after moving to Singapore. Though i like it, i still love the rose syrup more.
Also i have seen roohafza with watermelon drink popularly called as Mohabat ka sarbath. Here in the local shops they sell the Malay special rose milk called Bandung. But i always love the South Indian Rose milk.
I saw this rose milk syrup from Sri Murugan stores, Singapore and wanted to try it out.
I actually planned to make rose milk ice cream. But i have got fresh nungu from the Indian shop, so i am so tempted to make this Nungu rose milk. It was so refreshing and perfect for this hot summer. Myself and my daughter enjoyed it so much. Also check out the Nungu sarbath recipe too.
Friends in Singapore, we get this rose milk syrup in Sri murugan stores Singapore. They have a wide range of Indian grocery and you can place the orders through their Android and iOs app too. Orders are delivered at your door steps island wide.

Hi Jeyashri.... the recipe looks yumm.. do we get palm fruit in Singapore? We have recently shifted to Singapore, so no idea about this. Our family loves this fruit a lot but we didn't find.
ReplyDeleteActually here i have seen in only one shop in Buffalo road little India. The First shop from the Mrt exit. But i don't say they are so fresh and tender. It is packaged and wednesday and saturday noon we get fresh stock there. Afternoon if you go you can find some good ones. But can't match the fresh tender ones we get in India.
